Formulation
This page clarifies certain ingredients and their origins that we use in our body wash formulations. As the primary function of a body wash is to cleanse, surfactants are generally higher in percentage and are listed at the top of the ingredient list. However, in our formulations, we optimise the usage of our key ingredients to provide you with effective skincare benefits without getting in the way of the cleansing function. Key ingredients may present themselves in the middle to lower positions in the list, but they are generally higher than average in percentage compared to many products (which makes the percentage of our surfactants lower than usual but still very slightly higher than the key ingredients).

Key Ingredients
Chamomile Recutita Flower Extract
Chamomile extract that helps calm and soothe your skin.
Propylene Glycol
Helps to hydrate your skin and retain moisture.
Lactic Acid
Helps with cell turnover, optimise pH level for your skin, repairs your skin's natural barrier, and acts as a natural anti-microbial agent.
Glycerin
Helps with skin hydration and restores skin's natural moisturising factor.
Avena Strigosa Seed extract
Black oats extract - Helps with skin hydration and restores skin's natural moisturising factor.
Lecithin
Helps to keep your skin smooth and soft.
Olea Europaea (Olive) Leaf Extract
Olive leaf extract helps to nourish and calm your skin.
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice
Aloe Vera - Helps as an anti-inflammatory agent and an effective skin moisturiser.
Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate (SLES)
The SLES we use is 100% derived from plant and not petroleum. It is much milder and safer than SLS, and is a surfactant that cleanses your skin, without stripping its natural moisture.
Cocamidopropyl Betaine
This ingredient is derived from coconut and is one of the ingredients that are Ecocert-certified. It is natural and helps with the lathering of the body wash.
Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine
This ingredient we use is derived from coconut and is used as a conditioning agent and thickener.
Myristamine Oxide
We use the plant-based version of this ingredient. Helps with the stability of the body wash and lathering experience.
Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside
Also an all-natural ingredient derived from vegetable oils that acts as a stabilizer and allows our key ingredients to be solubilized well.
Decyl Glucoside
Plant-based and biodegradable (same goes for the other ingredients), helps with lathering and retaining skin moisture.
Sodium Chloride (salt)
It is a natural ingredient that acts as a thickener and natural preservative and also helps to improve texture and stability of the solution.
Potassium Sorbate
We use the natural extract from Mountain Ash Berries. Acts as a natural preservative.
Fragrance
Naturally extracted and high quality fragrances that are uniquely blended to provide you with a great experience.
